The Visual Arts has been our oldest witness to our turbulent, but rather colorful history. Images were painted across cave walls and then later on to canvasses, most of these are still well-preserved and then replicated as photographs and then made into moving pictures we now call as film!
The evolution of the Visual Arts and its valuable contribution to our ongoing saga as a society continues to today and will go beyond tomorrow!
The School Arts Magazine believes in the importance of the Visual Arts in the history of mankind and has, since 1901 inspired creativity among its readers and has remained an essential resource material for the enhancement of the arts in the classrooms from pre-Kindergarten to grade 12--a must have for teachers of the Visual Arts, this literature aims to promote excellence, advocacy and professional development for the arts.

Defined as any technique or process for creating images, diagrams and animations--visualization; man's ability to visualize through visual imagery has been one of the most effective tools of expression of abstract and concrete ideas.
In fact, anybody can draw, anybody can take a photograph, anybody can splash colors againts a backdrop! Everyone can in fact create images that shouts out an idea or a feeling--as they say, 'A picture is worth a thousand words.'
Visual imagery is a flow of thoughts that stimulates all of your senses. It is the door to the inner you! Because it is under the realm of art, an expression of who you are, what you feel and what you believe in--captured in a single image that can be added to the millions and millions of images that continues to shape and mold story of our existence.
